Building for the
Next Billion

Henry Oderinde is a software engineer by profession, but his real interests sit at the intersection of management, leadership, and analytical thinking that improves human lives. Based in Lagos and graduating from TASUED in 2026 with a BSc in Computer Science Education, he has spent two years shipping real products in fintech and edtech while leading campus initiatives, mentoring other builders, and contributing to open-source projects used around the world.

ABOUT ME

A BRIGHT MIND,
SHAPED BY FOUR THREADS.

My journey is like a tapestry, woven from many different threads. Each project I have worked on, every team I have led, and every student I have taught has contributed to a larger picture, one that spans four main areas: artificial intelligence, financial technology, education, and community.

If I had to introduce myself in one line:
I am a product-minded founder and software engineer driven by one goal: building technology that genuinely improves people's lives.

That instinct started early. In JSS3, during a Basic Technology class, I came up with the idea of building an autonomous moving car controlled by a simple switch. I wasn't the student connecting every wire or assembling every component. What excited me was imagining how the product should work, what problem it solved, and how people would interact with it. Looking back, I realize that wasn't just a school project-it was the beginning of how I naturally think.

Since then, that pattern has stayed with me. I enjoy understanding systems, shaping products, and translating ideas into solutions that create real impact. While I continue growing as an engineer, my greatest strength lies in product thinking: identifying meaningful problems, designing practical solutions, and working with technical teams to bring those ideas to life.

I'm also deeply execution-oriented. When I commit to something, I see it through. I'm willing to ignore distractions, invest hundreds of hours learning from founders and operators, and consistently build toward a long-term vision. Whether it's developing LeAi, improving my technical skills, mentoring others, or refining my portfolio, I believe consistent execution matters more than short bursts of motivation.

Today, my focus is on building AI-powered products that improve education across Africa and beyond. I want to create technology that helps people learn better, make better decisions, and unlock opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have. Every project I take on is guided by the same principle I've carried since secondary school: build things that are genuinely useful, and don't stop until they're making a real difference.

Built On

Software Engineering

I am a software engineer by profession. I may be technically average, but I love to get my job done and I see it to the end. Code is one way I keep my word.

Management

I am passionate about management because it is the craft of aligning people, resources, and time toward something useful. It is where strategy meets execution.

Leadership as Service

I believe I am a born leader, but I do not say it loudly. Leadership is a service, and it is earned by doing the work, carrying the weight, and lifting others.

Analytical Thinking

I am drawn to roles that use analytical thinking to improve human lives positively. Data and systems are interesting; their impact on people is what makes them worth studying.

Administration

In anything I do, I am an administrative person. I do not chase it for status. I find it deeply appealing because order, process, and follow-through are how ideas survive.

The Next Chapter

I am stepping forward with hunger, humility, and a deep belief in what is possible. I want to grow in rooms where ambition meets purpose, sharpen my thinking, and contribute to work that touches real lives. I do not need every answer today; I am ready to learn fast, serve well, and earn my place.
